Canyon Oaks is my happy place!

I’d love to share it with you and your Horse.  

My Life has been a twisting, turning, adventure road - not unlike the Ortega Highway that leads to Canyon Oaks. 

I grew up immersed in the local horse community, then lost contact with horses for a decade and a half while pursuing post-graduate education and career as a Forester.  Then I returned to the equestrian industry as a professional in my 30’s.  

When I answered the call to return to horses, I became aware of the need for equine facilities specializing in retirement, layup and rehabilitation.  I’m so pleased to continue the legacy of Kate Roth in stewarding this property for more generations of horsepeople. 

Atop your backyard mountain ridge, you’ll find us on 10 acres of land embraced by the Cleveland National Forest. A seasonal creek and natural spring grace the land.  Just the place for our herd to spend peaceful days together.
